Beetroot Halwa

Quick Breakfast , Snacks Recipes | Indian masala macaroni pasta Recipe







Ingredients : 

1 Cup macaroni ( elbow ) Pasta 
1 medium size onion
1 medium size tomato
4-5 garlic finely chopped
1 Tbsp oil
1/4 Tsp chilli powder 
1 Tsp mixed herbs
1 Processed cheese cube 
1 Tbsp tomato ketchup
 Salt to taste 

Method :

  • Take a kadai add 3 cup of water, let it boil add 1 tsp oil and salt to taste.
  • When the water start boiling add pasta to it.
  • Cook the pasta for 3-4 min ( pasta should be 3/4 cooked , and do not over cook )
  • When the pasta is done strain it and keep it aside.
  • Take another kadai, add 1 Tbsp oil to it, let it get hot.
  • Add finely chopped garlic to it, cook for 1 min, add finely  chopped onion cook it till it become pink in colour.
  • Add finely chopped tomato to it and cook till the tomato become soft.
  • Add red chilli powder, tomato ketchup, mixed herbs and salt to taste ( we already added salt while boiling pasta so adjust salt accordingly ) to it and cook for another 2 min.
  • Add 1/2 cup water to it and let it get boil.
  • Add boiled pasta to it and mixed it properly and let it cook for another 2 min.
  • Take the pasta out in the plate and grate the processed cheese cube on top of it and pasta is ready to serve.

* Instead of mixed herbs you can add oregano to it whichever is available with you.
