Beetroot Halwa

Instant Rava uttapam




























Ingredients:


1 Cup Rava
1/2 Cup curd
1Tsp Eno fruit salt
Salt to taste

For Topping:

Onion
Tomato
Green chilli
Coriander
( You can use veggies as per your choice)

For Chutney:

1/2 Cup Roasted chana dal
1/2 Cup Coriander leaves
8-10 Curry leaves
2 No. Green Chilli
1/2 Tsp Cumin Powder
1 Tsp oil
Pinch of Asafoetida 
1 Tsp Mustard seeds
Salt to taste

Method:

  • In a bowl take 1 Cup Rava ,1/2 Cup curd  3/4 cup water mix well add salt and keep it aside for 10 min.
  • Meanwhile chopped all the veggies for Topping.
  • After 10 min mix the batter again. If required add some water to the batter, the batter should not too thick nor too thin, it should be pouring consistency.
  • Place a pan on heat spread some oil onto it, wipe it out with cloth now add the one laddle batter on pan spread it out little bit,
  • Add chopped veggies on it , pressed the veggies using spatula , let it cook for around 6-7 min on medium heat.
  • Flip it around add again let it cook for 5 minutes.
  • And instant Rava uttapam is ready to serve.

 For chutney

  • In the mixer grinder take roasted chana dal and half cup coriander leaves , green chillies salt to taste cumin powder curry leaves and grind it to a fine paste.
  • In a tadka pan add oil into it, as the oil heats up add musturd seeds , let it spluttred , add asafoetida , and few curry leaves, and add it to the chutney.
  • Serve with  piping hot Rava Uttapam
