Ingredients :
1 litre Full cream milk
2 Nos. Apples
1/2 Cup Sugar
1Tsp Cardomom powder
1/2 Tsp Nutmeg powder ( jaiphal )
5-6 Kesar strands ( optional )
Raisins
Pistachios
Method:
- Take a sauce pan or kadai add 1 litre milk to it
- Let it get boil ,add Kesar strands to it.
- Meanwhile, take apples, peel the skin and grate the Apples.
- As the milk start boiling add grated apples to it.
- And cook it slowly on low to medium flame till it get reduce to half the quantity.
- Stir it occasionally and don't let the malai form on the top of milk.
- As the milk gets reduced to half ,add 1/2 Cup Sugar , Cardomom powder,nutmeg powder mix it well and allow it to cook for another 8 -10 min , add raisins and pistachios in it.
- After 8-10 min Apple Basundi is ready
- Garnish it with few pistachios and Apple slices.
- Serve it and enjoy.
