Ingredients :
For Dough
1 Cup wheat flour
Salt to taste
Oil
Water
For Filling
4-5 Potatoes ( medium size ) boiled and mashed
2 Tbsp Oil
1 Tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 Tsp Red chilli powder
1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 Tsp coriander powder
2 Tbsp Tomato ketchup
1 Tbsp Frankie masala
Salt to Taste
For Frankie masala :
2 Tbsp Coriander powder
2 Tbsp Red chilli powder
1 Tbsp Jeera powder
1 Tbsp black salt
3 Tbsp Raw Mango powder ( Amchur )
1 Tbsp Garam masala
1/2 Tsp turmeric powder
For Topping
2 No. Onion
1 No. Capsicum
Cabbage shredded
Mayonnaise
Pudina chutney
Tomato ketchup
Frankie Masala
Method:
- Take a bowl add 1 cup wheat flour, salt, oil knead a semi soft dough using water.( like chapati dough ).
- Keep the dough aside for 10 min.
- Meanwhile prepare the frankie masala , take a bowl add Coriander powder, Red chilli powder, Jeera powder, black salt , Raw Mango powder ( Amchur ), Garam masala , and turmeric powder, mix everything properly and keep it aside.
- Now for filling take a kadai add 2 tbsp oil , let the oil heat up add ginger garlic paste to it.
- let it cook for few seconds then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder , mix it
- Add boiled and mashed potatoes to it mix it properly .
- Now add coriander powder, tomato ketchup , frankie masala and salt to taste mix it and cover it, and let it cook for 5-7 mins.
- Now keep the filling aside and let it cool down completely.
- In the same kadai add some oil and let it heat up then add chopped onion and chopped capsicum and cook it on high flame for 2 mins and keep it aside to cool down.
- Now take a dough and divide it into equal portion for making chapati
- Take one portion and roll it using rolling pin and board .
- Meanwhile heat a tawa, add the chapati on it.
- Cook the chapati partially ( half cooked )
- Likewise prepare all chapati. and keep them aside
- Now lets assemble everything
- Heat up Tawa , add some oil on it now place half cooked chapati on it , on the same tawa palce potata mixture tikki in rectangular shape as per chapati.
- Cook the chapati and the potato mixture tikki from both side properly.
- Remove both on the plate.
- Take the Chapati add mayonnaise, tomato ketchup and pudina coriander chutney , Spread out evenly on the chapati, now add potato mixture on it, the add Stir fry capsicum and onion mix, then add the shredded cabbage and sliced onions on it ,
- Spread some frankie masala on it and rolled the frankie and serve it with pudina coriander chutney and ketchup
