Beetroot Halwa

Mango Sheera Recipe







Ingredients:

1 Cup Rava/ Suji
3/4 Cup Ghee
3/4 Cup Sugar 
1 Cup Milk
2 Mangoes pureed
1 Mango diced
Cardamom powder


Method:

  • Heat up a pan on medium flame.
  • Add ghee and suji. Roast on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes or until suji begins to turn light golden. 
  • Keep on stirring continuously while roasting suji.
  • When suji begins to get light golden color and it begins to release nice aroma. Add milk and mix  well. 
  • Add mango puree and mix it well.
  • Cover and cook on medium heat for just about 3 minutes.
  • Take the lid off and add sugar, cardamom powder. Mix well.
  • Cover and cook on low to medium heat for about 5-6 minutes.
  • Add diced mango mix it well.
  • Cover and cook on low to medium heat for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Turn off the gas and mango sheera is ready .
  • Keep it aside for 5 minutes and then serve it hot.
