Ingredients:
To make the dough-
3/4 Cup All purpose flour
1/2 Tsp Baking powder
1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
3 Tbsp Curd
1 Tsp Oil
1 Tbsp Water
1/2 Tsp Sugar
Salt to taste
To make Pizza Sauce:
1 Small Onion
1 Small Tomato
3-4 Garlic cloves
3 Tsp Oil
1 Tsp Red chilli powder
3-4 Basil leaves ( or you can use tulsi leaves )
1/4 Tsp Oregano
1 Tsp Sugar
Salt to taste
1/2 Cup water
To make white Sauce:
1 Tbsp Butter
1 Tbsp All purpose flour
2-3 garlic cloves
1/2 Cup Milk
2-3 Tsp Water
Salt to taste
For Topping:
Onions
Tomato
Capsicum
Chilli Flakes
Oregano
( Veggies Can be used as per availability )
Method:
For Dough:
- In a bowl take all purpose flour, curd, baking soda , baking powder, sugar , salt as per taste, oil and knead a soft dough with little water .
- knead it for atleast 10 min ,apply some oil and cover it with damp cloth for atleast 1 hour.
Meanwhile lets prepare a white Sauce
For White Sauce:
- Take 1 Tbsp butter in the sauce pan , to it add chopped garlic and 1 Tbsp all purpose flour cook it for 3-4 minutes on low flame .
- Now add 1/2 cup milk and whisk it continuously cook it till it thickens add water it requires , now add salt as per taste. take this sauce out of the sauce pan and let it cool.
Now for Pizza Sauce.
- In a Pan add garlic , onion and tomato and add 1/2 cup water to it. Let it cook for around 5 minutes . Cools it completely and Grind it in a fine paste .
- Now Take oil in the pan add red chilli powder to it and then add the above paste along with some basil , sugar, oregano and salt to taste and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.If requires add water to adjust its consistency and its done let it get cool down.
- Now Cut the veggies into small dices , In the pan add some oil and saute the veggies for 2-3 minutes only, not more than take , now take it out in a plate.
- After resting the dough for about an hour knead the dough again for 1 min and roll it using a rolling pin not too thick not to thin and prick it using fork all around.
- Now heat a flat pan or Tawa and place the rolled dough on it and cook one side of it properly on low flame.
- Turn it on to the other side cook it in low flame and now spread the pizza sauce on top of it , followed by the white sauce , now spread sauted veggies on it , and spread some more white sauce .Some chilli flakes and oregano.
- Cover it and cook it for 8 - 10 minutes on low flame.
- Remove from the pan , slice it and serve hot .
* You can even use tomato ketch-up instead of Pizza sauce .
