Beetroot Halwa

Atta hakka Noodles from scratch | | Whole Wheat veg hakka Noodles ......


Ingredients:

1 Cup Whole wheat flour.
1 Tsp Oil
Salt to taste


1 medium size Onion
1/2 Cup Chopped Cabbage
1/4 Cup Chopped Capsicum
1/4 Cup Chopped Carrot
1/4 Cup Green onion
3 Tbsp Oil
2 Tbsp chopped garlic
1 Tsp chopped ginger
1 no. finely chopped green chilli
2 Tbsp Soy sauce 
1 Tbsp Green Chilli sauce
1 Tbsp Vinegar
2 Tbsp Tomato sauce
1/4 Tsp Pepper powder
1 Tsp Sugar
Salt to taste


Method:

  • In a bowl take 1 cup wheat flour , add salt to taste and oil.
  • Make a hard dough using water. 
  • In a sauce pan take 1 lit. of water , let it boil add salt to it .
  • Take a chakli mould  apply oil to it add dough to it.
  • Fit medium thick sev plate to it.
  • Roll noodles into a plate, Apply some dry flour to it so it doesn't stick to each other.
  • Transfer the noodles to the boiling water , let it boil for 2 min on low flame.
  • After 2 min strain the noodles add some ice cold water to it to stop the cooking process of noodles. and strain it.
  • Apply some oil to the noodles. keep it side.
  • Now in a kadai take 3 Tbsp oil, heat it on high flame.
  • Add green chilli, ginger, garlic saute for few seconds 
  • Add onions to it cook it till it changes color , add green onions, cabbage, capsicum, carrot to it.
  • Let it cook on high flame for 1 min. till it gets slightly cooked don't overcook the veggies.
  • Add boil noodles to it, add soy sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce, sugar, pepper powder,  salt to taste ( * soy sauce already had salt so add accordingly )
  • Mix everything properly , and toss for 2 min. 
  • Garnish it with some green onion's green.
  • Whole wheat veg hakka noodles are ready to serve.
