Beetroot Halwa

No Yeast , No oven DONUTS






Ingredients:

All purpose flour     -  1,1/2 Cup
Baking soda              - 1/4 tsp
Baking Powder         - 1/2 tsp
Powdered sugar       -1/2 Cup
Curd                            - 4 tsp
Milk                             -1/2 Cup
Salt.                             - A pinch
Cinnamon powder.  - for coating
Oil for frying


Method:

In a bowl take all the above dry ingredients and mix it well.

Then add curd to it and again mix it well

After mixing all dry ingredients and curd add milk little at a time and make a stiff dough .

Allow the dough to rest for atleast an hour.

After an hour knead the dough again . Place a pan or a kadai with the oil on the cooktop.

Divide the dough into 3 equal portion and take one out of it, roll it using rolling pina then cut the donuts using donut cutter or cookie cutter  and fry in the oil on low - medium heat till it becomes golden brown in colour.

Similarly make the donuts of the remaining two portions .

Meanwhile in a plate add some cinnamon powder and some powder sugar mix it well.
After frying dip the donut in cinnamon and powder sugar mixture and it's ready to serve.
